This BPMN Poster represents the ‘technical’ structuring of BPMN, which is based on the concept of layers, where each layer builds on top of and extends lower layers.

Each layer includes a package of interrelated BPMN semantic elements which are represented in UML class diagrams. Some of BPMN semantic elements have visual representations and are so used in BPMN diagrams.
