An important output from the Service Design Lifecycle stage is the blueprint for the service as it goes forward through the lifecycle stage of transition and into operation. This is captured in a document called the Service Design Package (SDP).

In this download, you can see the ideal contents of an SDP, but it is important to remember that your own organization may not be mature enough to have all of these items available.

But the importance of the SDP is such that you should try to have as much information as possible to pass on to service transition.
