In this poster we examine the basic estimation rules that are described in the PRINCE2 manual such as Bottom-up estimating, Top-down estimating, Parametric estimating, Single-point estimating and Three-point estimating.

We furthermore provide the formula used for the Three-point estimate along with the most basic rules to keep in mind when estimating, for instance, that people on the project will only be available to work productively 75-80% of their time.
