Important information on sitting an exam for one of our online certification courses

Everything you need to know about sitting an exam:

Good e-Learning offer a wide range of professional business and IT certification courses which are designed to provide students with all the knowledge required to pass the associated exams and assesments.

Once you have taken a course and you are ready to sit the exam, all you need to do is contact us to obtain your exam voucher.

In this section, we will guide you through everything you need to know about your chosen exam including information on the examination body, recieving your results, and the examination conditions.

Taking an Exam with Pearson Vue

Pearson Vue are the authorized providers of exams for ArchiMate, TOGAF and IT4IT certification. They host these exams worldwide through a network of test centers.

How to Book an Exam:

Good e-Learning will supply you with your free Pearson Vue exam voucher on request. When you have finished the e-learning course and you feel ready to take the exam, just contact support@goodelearning.com or give us a call.

The exam voucher is valid for 1 year from the date of issue. Please ensure that you request your exam voucher during your course access period.

You can then book your exam via the Pearson Vue website, and pay for it using a unique voucher code. During this process you will need to create an Open Group account by filling in your personal details, which would help you to register for an exam at Pearson VUE.

 

Recieving your Exam Results:

After taking your exam, your result will be sent from Pearson Vue to The Open Group.

It can take up to 6 working days for your result to be processed – after this The Open Group will contact you by e-mail, and provide you with login details to an online web certification system. You must log in to this system to complete your certification and download a digital certificate.

 

And if you don't pass?

If you do not pass your exam, The Open Group requires you to wait 1 month before rescheduling the same exam. For further information, please visit the Pearson Vue website.

Taking an Exam with PeopleCert

PeopleCert are authorised providers of PRINCE and ITIL Exams.

Please note that from January 2018, all PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner exams will be based on PRINCE2 2017. Please bear this in mind if you decide to take our PRINCE2 2009 course.

 

How to Book an Exam:

Good e-Learning will supply you with your free PeopleCert exam voucher on request. When you have finished the e-learning course and you feel ready to take the exam, just contact support@goodelearning.com or give us a call.

The exam voucher is valid for 6 months from the date of issue. This excludes the PRINCE2 course where exam vouchers will only be valid until 31st December 2017 due to PRINCE2 2017 coming into force in January 2018. Please ensure that you request your exam voucher during your course access period.

You can then book your exam by vising the PeopleCert website. Please note that if English is not your first language you will receive 25% extra time to complete the exam.

Before you book an exam, you must that that your computer will meet the requirements for an Online Proctored exam with PEOPLE CERT. To do this please click here to run the PEOPLECERT Exam Shield compatibility check.

 

Recieving your Exam Results:

For web proctored exams, you will receive you results on the day once verified by PeopleCert. If your exam is taken at a test centre, results will be sent within 2 working days.

Taking an Exam with Remote Proctor Now

Remote Proctor Now is a cloud-based solution that allows you to sit your exam online, using your own computer.

Using a standard computer webcam with an internet connection, distance learners have the ability to take a proctored exam online affordably – anytime, anywhere. The exam can be taken on-demand, at a time and location of your choosing.

 

How to Book an Exam:

You do not need to schedule your exam - just log in when you are ready to take the exam online but ensure that you request your exam voucher during your course access period.

When you are ready to take the exam, get in touch and we will provide you with an authorization code and instructions. You must first download a software application onto your computer in order to run the exam session. Your computer’s webcam and microphone records your exam session from start to finish. You will need a reputable form of ID, to be shown at the beginning of the exam.

After you have completed the exam a recording of the session will be delivered electronically to be reviewed retrospectively by Remote Proctors (audio and video) to ensure the exam was completed within guidelines set by the examination board. Recieving your Exam Results:

You will immediately receive an unconfirmed result after completing the exam. You will not be able to receive a confirmed result until it has been reviewed externally.

You should allow for 10 working days before receiving an official, confirmed result, by e-mail.
