Over the years, The Open Group has updated the TOGAF enterprise architecture framework a number of times in order to keep it current and relevant. During this time, the ‘Architecture Development Method (ADM)’ has remained at the heart of the framework, providing architects with tools and guidance to create comprehensive and highly useful enterprise architectures.

In this video, Mike from Good e-Learning takes a look at Phase D of the ADM, ‘Technology Architecture’. This is key for enabling Phases C and B, with all three combining into the ‘Architecture Vision’. This will fully address stakeholder concerns and requests for architecture work, and given the prevalence of technology and IT in modern enterprises, a holistic view of technology is absolutely essential for this.
