About this Resource:

Defining good roadmaps is an essential part of the enterprise architect role.

TOGAF does refer to roadmaps, and key steps in the ADM talk about defining candidate roadmap components and creating the architecture roadmap, and there is a detailed description of an architecture roadmap as an architectural deliverable… but you would be hard-pressed to create a good roadmap by using only the guidelines in TOGAF.

This poster describes what is missing… and two key pointers on how to address this lack!
